Strategic industry, made in Mozambique
Mozchem – Intelec is a Mozambican chemical company developing national production of chlorine and its derivatives — caustic soda, hydrochloric acid, chlorine and sodium hypochlorite — essential products for water treatment, public health, mining and manufacturing.
Today, these products are entirely imported. Our future plant in the Maputo region will replace imports, create skilled jobs and supply the national and regional market with reliable, competitive local production.
As part of the Intelec Holdings group, we combine Mozambican entrepreneurial vision with technical rigour and leading international partners.

A modern chlor-alkali plant, under development in the Maputo region, that will produce caustic soda, hydrochloric acid, chlorine and sodium hypochlorite — supplying Mozambique and the whole Southern African region.
